Who we are
Johane Masowe Chishanu Apostles (JMCA) is a community of apostles well known for wearing white garments. Founded in 1931 by the Holy Spirit Johane. The man Shonhiwa Masedza born in Gandanzara Village, Makoni District in Manicaland Province was the first Zimbabwean to be filled by the Holy Spirit Johane. The teaching and culture of Johane Masowe was then formed with many African people following the movement.
What are we into
Fellowship
We provide a sense of belonging to one another supporting each other spiritual, socially and emotionally. We believe in the Holy Spirit Nyenyedzi, thus provide guidance in our lives.
Social Work
We are socially responsibility community. In every community we work in, we provide free spiritual advice, guidance and counselling in life matters and advocacy for social justice
Tourism
We are pilgrims with enthusiasm of travelling to fellow African countries so as to deepen our spiritual connection and faith in our community. With specific focus on spiritual growth, worship and community building, we are always guided by Holy Spirit Nyenyedzi
What is JOMA
JOMA is Trust for Johane Masowe Chishanu Apostles. The Trust was established for the purpose of mobilising resources to fund church property acquisition, development and funding socio-economic interventions that uplift JM-CA membership.
JOMA
Formed in 2001 and was formerly registered in 2018 through the register of trust, JOMA forms a critical component of JMCA. It has a governance structure for the church’s accountability. The governance structure which comprises of the Executive Chairman, Executive Secretary, Treasury and Committee Members sit every quarter to discuss church related business which include church developments, investments and church projects.
